Internet bookmarks is single hierarchical structure (pim)
Internet browsers administer your "favorites" or "bookmarks", but
normally only by using a single hierarchical structure. This is often unsatisfactory. Does
a link for a website on personal information manager go under the category 'manager' or
'software'? Do you spend time copying bookmarks from one category to another to ensure
that each link is in every category that is relevant? TextIndexer information manager
offers you much more than a simple hierarchy and can make such problems a thing of the
past.
Use TextIndexer to organize your web bookmarks and resources.
When you have discovered an interesting page then you want to revisit eventually and
save some of the info right now. First copy the URL from the Browser on to TextIndexer.
This creates a new tree node with a link to the page. Then select some interesting text on
the page and copy this text. Then you can add your own notes for the link or categories,
and later search those Tree Categories. No more having to decide in which of many branches
of the hierarchical structure the link should be placed, or creating multiple copies of
the link to place in each relevant branch. A click with your mouse lets you revisit the
page with ease.
TextIndexer use 'rich text' that much of the formatting from the original html page may
be preserved by this process.
