Installing fonts in to Macintosh

Before these fonts can be installed, they must be de-compressed using a software product called “Stuff-It”. All MAC files that are downloaded from the WEB site are in a .hqx format (compressed).

If Stuff-It Expander is needed, you can download a FREE version

Installing fonts on OS 9 or below.

1. Open up the Hard Disk
2. Open up the System Folder
3. Open up the Fonts Folder
4. Highlight and drag the screen font (suitcase with “A” on it) and the printer font (not the .AFM file) into the FONTS folder.

Installing fonts on OS X.

1. Open up Hard Disk.
2. Open Up the Library Folder
3. Open up the Fonts Folder
4. Highlight and drag the screen font (suitcase with “a” on it) and the printer font (not the .AFM file) into the FONTS folder.

Note: Customers can also use Adobe Type Manager, Suitcase and Font Reserve to install their fonts. In these instances, they should consult the user guide on how the fonts should be installed.

Note: OSX users if you do not see the postscript fonts listed in the menu right away, then you need to restart your computer.
